Great Chanteuse Barbara writes a letter to Jacques Brel, buried in the same cemetary as Paul Gaugin, on the island of Hiva -Oa in the Marquesas. She imagines their meeting, their friendship, as she laments Brel's death.

A cult figure and diva in France but virtually unknown in
America, she was cast by Brel as Léonie, the love interest in his movie Franz. Thus, she and signs her letter with that name. Gaugin was Barbara's last video.
