Among the great seasons of worship in Islam are the first ten days of Dhu’l-Hijjah, which Allah has favoured over other days. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “There are no days on which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days...” Narrated by al-Bukhaari.
