Donald Trump said Thursday that he was talking about 2016 competitor Carly Fiorina's "persona," not her appearance when he insulted her a day earlier. "I'm talking about persona, I'm not talking about looks," the frontrunner for the Republican presidential nomination said on "FOX & Friends." "Look at that face," Trump told the magazine of the former CEO of Hewlett-Packard who has surged in recent polls. "Would anyone vote for that?" Fiorina, for her part, responded later Wednesday, suggesting she had touched a nerve with the mogul. "Maybe, just maybe, I'm getting under his skin a little bit because I am climbing in the polls," she told Fox News Channel.
