DEA Secretary Shaktikanta Das on Gold Monetisation scheme internals

The government has approved the gold monetization scheme to discourage India's infamous obsession with the yellow metal. Shaktikanta Das, Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs, expects the scheme to get good a response. He explained the scheme internals and tax treatment of the scheme.
