Safe Sparring is not for everybody. Chaaze tried it out with me and he tried it with a few other students. He got some injuries and then he also injured one of the other students. Through his evaluation, he decided that contact safe sparring was just not for him. I really respect his decision and ability to be upfront about it rather than just disappearing leaving me guessing. He mainly joined for the spiritual aspects of the Martial Arts and the Fitness. Martial Arts is supposed to help you be healthier and live longer, if you are getting injured over and over again during safe sparring, then it defeats the purpose.

As you get older, the safe sparring may become more and more irrelevant to your lifestyle. If you live a very peaceful life, then you may feel less and less practicality in the safe sparring training. Though for others, it is a great challenge, a great joy to train in safe sparring, everybody has their preferences and in this school I try my hardest to provide training in all areas of development in the Martial Arts. In this school we focus on Weight training, calisthenics, flexibility, combative forms, combative drills, weapons, safe sparring, cardio endurance, meditation, and teachings on Eastern Philosophy.
