We play the Hi Ho Cherry O! board game! Game Review and Full Playthrough
  • 9 years ago
Today we give a tutorial and full playthrough of the Hi Ho Cherry-O! board game! Hi Ho Cherry-O! is a very simple game to pick up and play, and a full play through can be completed very quickly. We managed to play through an entire game in less than five minutes!

The game is suggested for children ages 3 and up, and up to three players can play at a time. The rules are very easy, and kids can reinforce some basic counting skills as they play, although they really should already have some fine motor skills before being able to pick up the small pieces. Each player picks from a red, green and purple cherry tree. Each player then takes a spin on the spinner and removes the resulting number of cherries from their tree and drops them in the basket. If you land on the bird or the dog, you have to take two cherries out of the basket and put them back on your tree. If the spinner lands on the basket, then all of that player’s cherries are replaced on their tree, essentially setting them back to “start.” The first player to remove all the cherries from their cherry tree is the winner.
