Phantom Movie Review | Saif Ali Khan, Katrina Kaif

Well Saif is surely back in his own way in his latest release Phantom. Kabir Khan shows he is made of good stuff with his slick direction. After his Bajrangi Bhaijan Kabir had to deal with heavy duty stuff with Phantom and he has come out of it well.
Phantom is a political thriller and is about Daniyal played by Saif the protagonist who wishes to seek justice over the 26/11 terrorist attack on Mumbai. Out to seek the accused Saif plays a cool worker identifying the accused and tracking them down.
Katrina plays a key role in the movie however the flick is entirely about Saif and his vengeance. Kabir portrays Saif’s journey across the countries vividly and we almost live through the scenes, and the destinations. Saif finds that to be a part of such a mission one has indeed pay a heavy price and the flick only shows what a huge personal price Saif pays.
Everything is just alright about the movie and one only wishes the story is real and true. There is a sense of helplessness one feels as one lives the movie and it only brings in a feeling of patriotism. However there are some small glitches and faux pas which do not give the film the grip it needs. It is sure worth one watch and take it with a pinch of salt as it is not real. We give it three out of five stars.
