I, Roopesh Rai Sikand (Writer/Director) have been constantly working in the direction of creating benchmarks in the Film Fraternity across the Nation through my excellent skills & innovative ideas which I have developed so far in the field of Film and Video Direction.
I feel blessed to be the first Director of Bollywood, India, as I have been awarded by WHO for my famous filler - "Cigarette in my hand.... I feel like a man"
Subsequently I was awarded several times for my creative awareness oriented telefilms like "Inko Chhune Se Sirf Pyaar Failta Hai AIDS Nahi"
I was also awarded with the Youngest Director Award from Delhi Police for a yet another filler based upon traffic safety - "Marzi Aapki - Aakhir Sar Hai Aapka"
I am presently working towards my debut film project with ace artists who are well known faces and celebrities. This is a Punjabi film titled “CANADA DI FLIGHT” featuring Yuvraj Hans & Navraj Hans, who are superstars in the Punjabi Film Industry and sons of the legendry punjabi singer Hans Raj Hans.
Born and bought up in Delhi (India), I have achieved various milestones of my career through constant dedication and hard work and the in-born spirit which drives me through my ups and downs of life. Having offices in both the metropolitan cities - Mumbai & Delhi, for the last several years, I operate mainly from Mumbai & if the need be, from Delhi.
