Asteroid 2012 DA14 imaged remotely from an observatory in Australia on 15 February 2013 at 17:40 UT (18:40 CET). The object passed safely by Earth less than two hours later, at 19:25 UT (20:25 CET), passing about 28 163 km above Indonesia.
