The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department chased a paraglider who was getting a bit too close to a detention center for comfort.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department found itself involved in a very unique chase on Monday.
They were trying to stop a paraglider that was deemed to be flying too close to a detention center.
Suspecting that the person controlling the motorized craft may be attempting to drop off contraband on the facility’s grounds or even free one of the inmates, they sent up a helicopter to mitigate the risk.
