Glue squeeze-out from a skateboard press at Baltimore's public workshop

Wood glue squeezes out from skateboard decks being loaded into a 20-ton press. There are 5 decks, each 7-ply maple. This process was part of a "SK8 or DIY" class offered by the Station North Tool Library - Baltimore's non-profit tool library and the country's only public workshop. The Station North Tool Library offers tools, classes, and a public work space that enables city residents to work on their own projects or learn how to make anything from cutting boards to skateboards. We believe making something with your hands is an empowering experience for anyone!
