17-Year-Old Finds Room for Improvement in Search Engines

Nicholas Schiefer recently won the Intel Foundation Young Scientist Award for a breakthrough search algorithm. His idea allows for “micro-searches” which use social network relationships to expand the amount of information retrieved after a search.
