There have been major skirmishes outside Ukraine's parliament building in Kiev - resulting in at least 12 arrests, and several injuries. Waving flags and burning tyres in the streets, the crowd's anger was focused at the country's collapsing economy. Some tried to break through the police cordon, threatening to torch the parliament building.
