Police in one British county are fed up as being seen as the bogeymen, and are taking action. A 2014 parliamentary report following an 18 month inquiry, found youngsters often profoundly distrust the police - and feel officers target and humiliate them rather than offer protection. As a result some children and young people fear the the authorities. Ken Hinds from the Stop and Search monitoring group, says this attitude means the trust-boosting ads will not work.
