Greek debt talks: Tsipras promises 'credible reforms' at EU parliament (part 2)

It was in front of a divided European Parliament that Alexis Tsipras made the announcement of "credible reforms" to be submitted on Thursday, promising to implement pension and tax reforms as early as next week. He still took the opportunity to put the boot in - criticising previous bailouts for turning Greece into an "austerity laboratory". He also submitted a request for a three-year loan from the European Stability Mechanism bailout fund... with no amount specified for the moment.
