Taken from the 3rd Brooklyn Bridge Vinyl release. 'Day Is Done' was written by Peter Yarrow and originally preformed by Peter, Paul & Mary. The smash folk hit went to number 1 in the US and number 2 in the UK in 1969. "The Brooklyn Bridge' release their soulful rock version in 1970. The single only went to #96 on Billboard but I have always felt it is as good a version as the original. Besides Johnny Maestros dramatic soulful vocals, the band is outstanding in this version.
Although both tracks were released during the Vietnam War, I have focused the video on, The Civil War, World War One (The Great War), World War Two and The Vietnam War.
