Cosmetics company Coty paid it’s newly hired CEO, Elio Leoni Sceti, nearly 1.8 million dollars when he decided he didn’t want the position after all.

Cosmetics company Coty paid its newly hired CEO, Elio Leoni Sceti, nearly 1.8 million dollars when he decided he didn’t want the position. 

They’re also planning to buy back the preferred stock he purchased totaling around 55 thousand dollars.

Though the reasons behind Leoni Sceti’s decision aren't clear, some particulars of the acceptance agreement he signed have been disclosed. 

The severance being offered, including the stock buy back, is specified in the details.
