Riding high on the spirit of Abarth, Fiat is aiming to encash this performance brand wisely than before. Reported to have plotted its hatchback-based crossover Avventura under this performance division, one can now spot how the change will reflect Fiat in future.
Caught in the balmy weather of Himachal Pradesh, we can see the performance version of Avvenutra almost identical to the standard model. The only distinctive clues are chromed exhaust tip and T-badge on the tail gate.
Under the bonnet, it is bound to carry the 1.4-litre T-Jet petrol engine to produce the max output of 135bhp. Hence, it remains interesting to see how the Fiat will fare in its self created segment. “Will others follow it?” is a very stern question that Fiat needs to answer at the launch.
