Jaswinder Singh Dhami (born 1 March 1986),[1] best known by his stage name Jaz Dhami, is a music artist of the Folkhop genre, signed in 2008 to Sanchez Productions Ltd.[citation needed]

Early life[edit]
Jaz Dhami is of Punjabi, Sikh origin, raised in Birmingham, Handsworth. He is the son of Viccar Dhami, lead vocalist of the legendary Bhangra band Sangam. From the age of nine Jaz’s vocal abilities were recognized by his father. At the age of 9, Jaz began on his musical journey, undertaking tutorials in Indian classical training in Birmingham, England.

Community work[edit]
Jaz Dhami is involved in encouraging Asians to get into football and is featured in The Football Association's "Football Needs" campaign.[2][3]
