Tournaments can be great fun, but they can also be especially challenging because they often require players to play for long periods of time. Remaining mentally tough during those long stretches is obviously important. But so is physical fitness, which is why increasing numbers of players who play tournaments regularly are becoming mindful of staying fit and healthy.

Tournament poker really is partly an endurance test, especially when we're talking about the big multi-table tourneys with hundreds or even thousands of entrants. And making endurance all the more important is the fact that the money can only be won at the end!
