Making Continuation-Bet Bluffs in Poker | PokerStars
  • 9 years ago
Probably the most frequent kind of bluff in Texas Hold'em is the 'continuation bet' or 'c-bet' as it is sometimes called. When a player raises before the flop and is called, that player will more often than not make another bet on the flop as a continuation of having taken the lead before. Such a c-bet is often technically a bluff because the player doesn't actually connect with the flop but bets anyway.
