British actor Sir Christopher Lee dies

It is being reported in the British media that actor Sir Christopher Lee has died in hospital in London.
Newspapers say the 93-year-old died at the weekend. He was being treated for respiratory problems.
He was best known for roles early in his career including Dracula and, latterly, as Saruman in the Lord of the Rings franchise.
The actor’s agent has sent an emailed statement saying his family do not wish to make any comment at this stage.
