Argentine: President Met with Snowden in Moscow, Gov't Reports

The Argentine government revealed that President Cristina Fernandez met with U.S. whistle blower and former spy agency contractor Edward Snowden during her visit to Moscow in April. Snowden's lawyer and executive director of the American Civil Liberties Union Anthony Romero said that Fernandez does not consider Snowden, currently a fugitive in exile in Russia, to be a criminal and praised the president for not being concerned about adverse reaction from Washington due to the meeting. teleSUR
