Venezuela Details Social Gains to UN Body

Venezuela will present a report on the social gains achieved in the 15 years of the Bolivarian Revolution to the UN Committee on Economic, Cultural and Social Rights meeting in Geneva. Venezuela's Vice President for Planning and Knowledge Ricardo Mendez will explain to the panel of 18 experts how the country currently allocates 61% of its budget to social spending in the fields of health, education, housing, and food.
