Palace: No to settlement with Ampatuans

MANILA - Maguindanao Gov. Esmael Mangudadatu is confident the Maguindanao massacre trial will push through even if some of the victims' families have opted to strike an out-of-court deal with the Ampatuans, the primary suspects in the case.
