'Ate Shawee' loses P100K to male 'orphan'

MANILA -- Stand-up comedian and Sharon Cuneta impersonator Marvin Martinez was victimized by a man he adopted last year.

Martinez said he lost P100,000 to Joseph Jones Palma, a man he welcomed to his home last year and had served as his assistant.

Palma left his live-in partner, Grace Santos, who also lives with Martinez.

Santos appealed to Palma to show up and return Martinez's money, which the latter was supposed to use to start a business. -- Francis Faulve, ABS-CBN News
