It starts small. A wisecrack here, a tweet there. Suddenly, before you realize it, you've got a full-fledged joke addiction on your hands. That's what happened to Curt Oren and his bit about getting a new hat. Oren thought it would be funny to act over-excited about getting a new hat. And it was - at first, anyway. Then he kept the joke going far longer than it should have. A concerned friend discovered that Oren spent all his money on this joke and set up a donation page to get him back on track.
