Using never-before-seen home movies of Christian from childhood through his release from prison in 2004, the film features interviews with friends and family, including Tony Alva, Jay Adams, Jason Lee and others. This is the true story of a skateboarding pioneer and legend.

He was also known by the nicknames "Christ" and "Holmes". Hosoi, along with Tony Hawk, were the most popular skateboarders for the better part of the 1980's. Hosoi is married to Jennifer Lee and has two sons, Rhythm (from a previous relationship) and Classic. Hosoi currently resides in Huntington Beach, California.
