Dog saves man: A dog rescued a hiker trapped under rocks on California's Mt. Rubidoux on Monday.
Ramon Llamas was hiking with his dog, Molé, on Mt. Rubidoux when the one-year-old mixed breed detected something wrong. The dog whined and pulled at his owner, then took him to a pile of rocks off the trail. There, in a hole about the size of soccer ball, Llamas saw a pair of eyes staring back at him.

Llamas thought the eyes might have belonged to an animal, but a weak voice then asked for some water and for Llamas to stay with him. Llamas called 911 and rescue workers arrived to pull the trapped hiker out to safety.
The man, known only as Paul, is believed to have been stuck for up to six days. Authorities report that he will make a full recovery.
