Alligator helps Florida cops nab runaway

Bryan Zuniga, 20, of Pinellas Park, ran from the cops only to get bitten by an alligator.

Zuniga was pulled over for swerving just before 3 a.m. He jumped out of the passenger's side and fled. He escaped the cops by kicking a hole through a vinyl fence, then wandered into an area near a water treatment plant where an alligator attacked him. He got himself to a hospital and was later arrested there. He faces charges including breaking a fence, fleeing an officer, and driving with a revoked license.
