A 39-year-old man was sent to hospital after he was buried alive in a pile up of 1,500 pounds of pineapple at a factory in New Jersey.

The accident happened at 3:40 p.m. in a warehouse located at 107 West Side Ave. There were no immediate reports as to why the massive amount of pineapples came toppling down, but doctors at the Jersey City Medical Center who examined the worker later said he never lost consciousness and was in stable condition.
