A Delaware man who suffered an 8 month erection is suing his doctor for malpractice following what he calls a botched penile implant procedure.
The lawsuit brought is brought on by 44-year-old truck driver, Daniel Metzgar, of Newark against Wilmington urologist Dr. Thomas Desperito. Metzgar told jurors that the inflatable prosthesis he received in December 2009 was getting in the way of his day-to-day activities, from when he would ride his motorcycle to those awkward moments at family events.
