The NFL has suspended Super Bowl MVP Tom Brady without pay for the first four games of the season, fined the New England Patriots $1 million and taken away two draft picks as punishment for deflating game balls during the AFC title game, the league said on Monday.

The NFL also indefinitely suspended the two equipment staffers that Brady was in cahoots with and who carried out the plan, including the one who called himself “The Deflator.”

Brady will miss the first four games against Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Jacksonville and Dallas. He is set to return in week five where the Patriots are scheduled to play the Indianapolis.
