A Westerville Ohio woman is accused of having drugged kids at her home daycare to make them sleep. Tammy Eppley has been charged with six counts of child endangerment for allegedly mixing Benadryl, an allergy medicine that causes drowsiness, and melatonin, a sleep aid, into pancakes, juice and cupcakes that she fed to the children in her care. Eppley boasted about her activities to friends via phone messages, reports say. Eppley denies the charges and claims that her messages were misunderstood. She also said that the parents of the children had granted her permission to give them the substances.
