Six people working for dairy consortium Cospalat have been arrested in northern Italy accused of selling toxic milk containing the carcinogenic aflatoxin. Aflatoxin is a toxic fungi that contaminates foods such as corn. When the infected corn is fed to cattle, aflatoxin can make its way into their milk.
