This is my first test-ride with the battery charger connected to the XL-SDD dynamo hub I recently installed in my Quest. I installed a voltmeter and an ammeter inside the cabin, to find out exactly how much power the dynamo puts out. At 30mph, it pumps over 8W into the battery. Not bad!

In the video, you can also hear the dynamo humming quite clearly. It's not terribly loud, but I have a feeling it'll soon become annoying. The dynamo seems to hum louder when it's electrically loaded. Oh well...
