A video of a woman threatening her boyfriend's attacker with a shotgun is making its way around the Internet, though little is known about the incident, apart from what is shown.

The video, which was filmed at a QuikTrip gas station somewhere in the United States (and our sleuths here at Tomo News US believe it was in Arizona), starts with two men grappling on the pavement next to a white car which appears to belong to the couple. A man in an orange shirt is being pinned by a slightly larger man in a blue shirt who is called Eric.

The man's girlfriend is furious that Eric has her man in a hold and screams for his release, though the men don't budge. Moments later, she goes into the car and reappears with a shotgun which she threatens to use if Eric doesn't unhand her partner.

At one point in the 3-minute video, the girlfriend cocks the shotgun, then eventually points it at Eric (and subsequently her boyfriend under Eric). Another man in the video who appears to be a friend of Eric attempts to calm the situation, though without much success.

The girlfriend tells Eric she will count to three and if he doesn't let her boyfriend go, she will shoot him. However, and fortunately for everyone involved, she never follows through on the threat. She does put the gun to Eric's neck at one point, but his friend intervenes.

The men finally break apart and no one gets shot.

Comments on YouTube and LiveLeak speculate that Eric had stolen a winning lottery ticket from the couple, which caused the fight, though that wouldn't explain why Eric would have wanted to keep the boyfriend trapped. Another commenter claimed that a report said Eric had a knife in his pocket and had threatened the boyfriend with it, though such a report was impossible to find at the time of publication.
