An endangered leopard cub that playfully cuddled with Russian President Vladimir Putin, didn't take too kindly to paparazzi and attacked nearby reporters on Tuesday.

Everything seemed to be alright at the leopard breeding center when Putin played with a six month-old Persian leopard at the Sochi nature reserve.

Then again, there a few things outside of homosexuals that Pootie-Poots loves more than animals. Putin is famed the world over for his way with animals.

"We made friends," said Putin, according to a report by Britain's The Telegraph newspaper. "We've decided to restore the population of the Persian leopard because of the Olympic Games. Let's say that because of the Olympic Games, we have restored parts of destroyed nature."

The savage creature, however, didn't play nice with members of Putin's entourage and only appeared to calm down while in the presence of Vlad the Animal Whisperer.

The wild cat got quickly got agitated when accompanying reporters entered the fray and scratched one reporter and bit another.
