In a highly sensitive and touchy legal decision made several months ago, a Brazilian office worker won the right to mix work and pleasure in the most literal way, the freedom to watch porn and masturbate at work.
Thirty-six-year-old accountant Ana Catarian Bezerra suffers from a medical condition which burdens her with severe anxiety and a raging libido. She says that her only relief comes from masturbating frequently throughout the day.
This obviously caused a few problems at work. Reports say that it once got so bad that she was forced to shuck the oyster 47 times in a single working day.
After a lengthy court battle she finally convinced judges that her womanly needs were genuine.
In a precedent-setting ruling, the judges declared it totally cool for Bezerra to continue getting herself off to porn at her computer desk.
The decision, which raised eyebrows (and probably a few other things to boot), aptly came smack bang in the middle of National Masturbation Month.
Asked to comment on Bezerra's appetite for orgasm and the judges' ruling, US Lawyer Virginia Keeney said that while workplace laws are designed to protect people with disabilities and provide them with reasonable comforts, she's never heard of a similar decision.
