Macbook Air thief in Starbucks caught on tape, arrested for stealing in San Francisco

An iOS software developer had her Macbook Air stolen from a San Francisco Starbucks on Saturday April 5th. Ahryun Moon left her seat to use the restroom and when she got back, discovered her priceless Macbook Air had been ganked! Priceless, because all of her work was stored inside of it. When Moon got the surveillance footage from the Starbucks, she could clearly see a blond woman, who she hadn't noticed at the time, scoping her out and waiting for the moment to strike.
The blond thief even bought a drink with cash rather than a credit card, a move clearly intended to prevent her name being traced. Moon uploaded the video onto Youtube and asked for help from the community to find the thief, and the community responded in a big way. Within a couple days, the video of the theft had over 200,000 views.
One of the people who saw the video was a barista at another Starbucks. When he recognized the woman from the video stalking around inside his shop, wearing the exact same clothes no less, he called the police. The woman was arrested and it was subsequently revealed that she had a long rap sheet. Also, she wasn't exactly a she. The thief, named Paul Reynal, identifies as transgendered. She had a variety of fake IDs allowing her to pass for a man or a woman.
Although the thief has been caught, Moon's computer hasn't been recovered.
