Lovesick or just sick? Stalker steals professor's maxi pads

A 31-year-old Taiwanese man was caught stealing undergarments and maxi pads from his 44-year-old former professor from grad school.
The suspect, surnamed Lin, received his Master's degree last year and currently works as a salesman. Earlier this month, Lin snuck into his professor's house, using a self-made ladder and makeshift hooks.
As he was rummaging through the professor's closet, the professor's husband, who heard the commotion from the first floor, went into the room, saw him, and called the police.
Police found the professor's undergarments, stockings and maxi pads in Lin's backpack.
Lin later admitted to the police that this was the third time he had broken into the professor's house. He confessed to stealing her telephone contact list and lingerie during his first two visits.
The professor decided not to press civil charges as long as Lin pledged to stop harassing her. Lin, however, still faces criminal charges as theft and burglary are a no-no.
