Teen sexual assault: Arizona student Tyler Kost raped as many as 18 classmates

Tyler Kost, 18, of Poston Butte High School, has been accused of repeatedly and forcefully sexually assaulting at least 10 teenaged girls from his school, according to Sheriff Paul Babeu and documents from his detectives. Babeu added that Kost assault the girls by overpowering them, then manipulated them so they would stay silent about the assaults.
However, Kost's defense lawyer, Joey Hamby, said that it is Babeu who is overpowering his client, judging him guilty before he has been formally charged and damaging his ability to get a fair trial.
Court documents state that one 15-year-old girl became pregnant and had an abortion, while two girls were so afraid and disturbed that they moved out of state.
Now, 10 teens have come forward and are willing to testify against Kost, Babeau said. An investigation is still continuing as officials believe there may have actually been as many as 18 victims.
A victim who moved out of state wrote on her Facebook page: "Tyler Kost didn't you learn no mean no. I told you over and over!!'' according to court documents. "Sick perv tried to get in my pants but I kicked him out of my home and dumped him because he didn't know no means no.
"I am sorry to anyone who was assaulted by this poor excuse of a man and I'm sorry I didn't say anything sooner,'' she wrote.
Detectives said some victims told them that they punched Kost when he made unwanted sexual advances and would not accept no for an answer, but he would punch them back. Others simply relented and resigned themselves to the attack.
