Carver Massachusetts policeman David Harriman saved Moochie the Chihuahua from drowning

Officer David Harriman is definitely on the good cop list today for his daring rescue of Moochie the chihuahua. He suddenly got a call of a vehicle submerged in a lake last Saturday and rolled to the scene as fast as possible. There he found 59 year old Debra Titus and her dog Stitch had swam safely to shore, but there was one other dog trapped in the truck.
The pickup was up past its roof in water, with Moochie wedged between the seats and the back of the cab. Officer Herriman wasted no time losing his shoes and service belt to dive into the murky water and save the pup.
He managed to get the door open, and free Moochie, but he wasn't breathing. Once on the surface, he gave her a little squeeze to get the water out of her lungs and she began to breathe.
Officer Herriman Says he understands dogs are like family, and anyone would do it.
