Cops say Dayton, Ohio bus driver Rickey Wagoner's tale of being saved by a Bible is a lie

The Bible has a word or two to say about bearing false witness, right? Well, Rickey Wagoner needs to re-read that part.
Back in February we told you about Rickey Wagoner, an Ohio bus driver who told police a religious book in his chest pocket saved his life.
Wagoner claimed he was attacked late at night by three black teens wearing face masks who stabbed and shot him, but his Bible, he claimed, deflected the bullets.
The story made the news all over the world with some declaring the bus driver's tale a 'miracle.'
--Not so, it seems.
CSI dudes say Wagoner's knife wounds were 'hesitation' wounds, not defensive ones...in other words, he stabbed himself.
Ballistic tests also proved the bullets would have easily gone through the book, unless it was placed on an asphalt surface first.
Police started asking questions after noticing the 300 + pound Wagoner, hadn't broken a sweat despite his tale of fighting off three attackers.
This glory-seeking liar hasn't yet been charged with a crime, but he will be losing his job. On Wednesday his boss apologized to the public for Wagoner's lies and use of ugly stereotypes.
