New Jersey shooting murder: Student Brendan Tevlin gunned down in his car

Brendan Tevlin was visiting home following his first year at college, after graduating from prep school with stellar marks and a strong community service record.
He was hanging out with friends playing video games on Wednesday night until around 11:30 p.m. Brendan texted his mom at that time to let her know that he would be home soon.
He then got behind the wheel of his parents' Jeep Liberty in West Orange, New Jersey.
Police believe the shooting was planned and not random, but have not yet said why.
Police released surveillance photos showing two young men fleeing the area around the time the shooting took place. They've not yet made any arrests.
Brendan's body was found with multiple bullet wounds inside the Jeep at the Ron Jolyn Apartments parking lot. This is about a mile from where he was shot at Walker Road and Northfield Avenue.
He was described as a likeable guy and model citizen. New Jersey police urge anyone with information on the shooting to call their tips line. There is a $25,000 reward for information on the murder.
