A man was attacked by six women who emerged from a train toilet after he tried to force open the door.
According to police, the 54-year-old man was on the Southend Central service that was stopped at Benfleet in Essex when the attack took place at around 10.45 p.m. He tried to force open the door to the toilet, and that's when six women in their early 20s and wearing mini-skirts emerged from the cubicle.
It's unclear how they all fit in the toilet or what they were doing in there.
When the door opened, the six women shouted at the man, and one punched the man before kicking him onto the platform.
Unfortunately, when the man was kicked off the train he fell onto another woman who was standing on the platform. She accused him of trying to steal her bag, which he protested. She refused to listen, then punched him in the face, according to police. Then she left the station.
Overall, the man suffered a hairline nose fracture, two black eyes and several bruises and scratches.
The woman on the platform was described as having a heavy build and dark hair styled in a bob. She was wearing a blue T-shirt and was carrying a gray satchel bag.
Meanwhile, police say the six women in the toilet are "protesting innocence."
