Delaware man, Michael Penn is accused of trying to hide heroin in his baby's diaper while cops arrested him on charges of shoplifting Tuesday.

New Castle police saw Penn walking with his 5-year-old daughter and 7-year-old son when they noticed Penn slip something in his 8-month-old baby's diaper. Police officers recognized the suspect when they saw him on a surveillance camera Sunday, after he stole a Samsung Tablet out of a Verizon Wireless store.

When police officers asked Penn to step away from his kids, they found 16 bags of heroin labeled as "Death" and "Bioshock" in his son's diaper.

In addition to shoplifting charges, Penn faces resisting arrest, child endangerment and possession of narcotics.

His children were turned over to the custody of his grandmother and reports were made to child welfare officials.
