The assault has ruined Lin’s life. Lin works at a shoe factory in Guangdong Province, in southern China. Lin's supervisor, surnamed Mong, allegedly had the hots for her. The problem was, Mong was married to a former employee who was extremely jealous of her unfaithful husband. Lin rejected the supervisor’s advances but Mrs. Mong still regarded Lin as a homewrecker and was determined to get revenge.
Lin was ready for work after her boyfriend headed to the factory Sunday evening. When she stepped outside her residence, someone covered her eyes with chopped chili peppers. Unable to fight back, Lin was tied up and her mouth stuffed.
Then the suspect cut the victim’s hair, clothes, bra, nipples and crotch. The assault lasted for 20 minutes. Lin recognized the suspect as Mrs. Mong. She untied herself and called her boyfriend after the jealous wife fled. He rushed home and took her to the hospital. Not until being transferred to the third medical center did she get proper treatment.
The doctor diagnosed the injuries as incurable due to the delayed medical aid. Mastitis may occur if she gives birth to a child in the future. The police arrested Mong the next day.
