Dumbest criminal ever? Break-in suspect arrested after winning police doughnut-eating contest

Talk about dumb! An Elizabeth City, North Carolina break-in suspect got himself arrested after winning a doughnut-eating contest sponsored by the city's police department on Tuesday.

Bradley Hardison, 24, beat out a variety of police officers and firefighters after managing to wolf down eight doughnuts in two minutes.

The victory landed him in the local paper and his sweet success was short-lived after an officer reading the story recognized Hardison, who was wanted for in connection to two break-in cases.

Hardison no doubt had a glazed look on his face when the cops came to arrest him.
