Michigan football player Csont’e York breaks hockey fan’s jaw in bar fight

Michigan Wide Receiver Csont’e York is awaiting charges after he suckerpunched a bro at Scorekeeper’s bar in Ann Arbor last month. Blap! York broke John Lavoie-Mayer’s jaw in three places and knocked out a tooth, in what Ann Arbor police say was an unprovoked attack.

Witnesses say the two pairs of sporting enthusiasts were arguing over whether hockey or football is better before they came to blows. Both are wrong. Clearly water polo is the sport of choice.

York and fellow Wolverine, Da’Mario Jones, who was also there, give a different version of events. According to them, Lavoie-Mayer approached Jones, like “Oh, you’re really tough, huh?” and Jones was like “Bro, you don’t want any problems.”

But dude kept getting closer and closer and was like, yelling in his face. That’s when York rescued Jones from certain doom with a cleverly timed right hook, leaving Lavoie-Mayer, like, totally jacked up. Forreal, like, Christopher Reeves jacked up.

Or not really.

Csont’e York is suspended, but still on the football team pending the outcome of his arraignment on August 22nd.
